Welding Supervisor (Pandan Loop)
Responsibilities:
To lead, guide and supervise his team (including Foreman, Asst Foreman & Welders) to achieve daily welding target
Conduct daily section meeting with his team to discuss daily work schedule, work specifications and manpower scheduling Discuss with Assistant Manager when his team encounters any technical problem and to seek consensus for certain applications and in according to procedures Check and discuss work progress of the day with his Foreman especially where pre & post heat treatment process required Review work schedule with Foreman and seek clearance from Assistant Manager for deployment of manpower for overtime work Arrange schedule for new/existing welders to be trained by senior or qualified welders for new processes Inform and arrange QA Department to qualify the welders for new welding processes Review before submission of weekly timesheet and process control traveller to immediate supervisor Communicate and coordinate with other departments/sections to ensure continuity of work process
Requirements:
Technical Diploma or equivalent Minimum 5 years experience in the relevant trade of which 2 years in supervisory role Singaporeans & foreigners (Filipino, Indian, Indonesian, Malaysian, Myanarmese & PRC National) with relevant experience are welcome
We provide company transport; pick up from Outram Park MRT, Tiong Bahru MRT, Commonwealth MRT, Clementi MRT & Jurong East MRT.
