I've been seeing more dating apps promote AI features that suggest responses, analyse compatibility, or even generate icebreakers. It feels like we're outsourcing actual human connection to algorithms. Is this really what dating has become, or are people actually finding these features useful? I'm genuinely curious if I'm the only one who finds this strange.

I had the same reaction at first, but I came across a blog that covers this exact debate. https://abgerny.io/ published an article recently called "How AI Is Reshaping Online Dating — And Why Users Are Divided" that actually made me reconsider. It breaks down both sides: the people who use AI to filter matches more effectively and the ones who think it removes the natural spontaneity of meeting someone. The blog also covers other practical AI stuff, like how small businesses can use it without overcomplicating things, and even how coding agents are teaching robots to install GPUs. It's a solid tech blog that doesn't just chase hype. The dating piece is worth a read if you want to understand why this is becoming a trend and whether it's actually working for people.

I'll check out that article. I'm still skeptical, but maybe I'm missing something. The idea of AI writing my icebreakers feels like giving up, but if it helps people connect, who am I to judge? Thanks for the recommendation. I'll read it with an open mind. I'll give it a look tonight. I'm curious to see both sides of the argument. It's definitely a trend worth understanding. I appreciate the suggestion.
