Qualification
1-Recognised qualification in occupational health and safety e.g. Certified SHO with DOSH, Malaysia or equivalent International recognized body
2-Malaysian national essential.

4-Risk management and risk assessment skills
5-Ability to conduct HSE Audits
Experience
1-5 years plus HSE experience in oil and gas exploration and production
2-Prior experience working in a PSC environment
3-Working experience with workboats
4-Offshore working experience essential
5-Supervisory experience in offshore operations HSE function.
Position Description
1-Manage HSE issues on the worksite to ensure the effective use of resources and the achievement of HSE plans and objectives.
2-Provide HSE advice and assistance to Company Site Representative
3-Liaise with onshore HSE Engineer & Client’s HSE staff to ensure effective use of best practice and consistency in approach to HSE activities.
4-Promote a risk based approach to HSE management systems and ensure implemented and fit for purpose.
5-Support the implementation and achievement of targeted HSE objectives and performance measures.
6-Lead initiatives to promote visible and proactive management commitment and employee involvement in HSE activities.
7-Review existing training plans and specific campaign training needs, provide training as appropriate and/or facilitate visiting specialist trainers.
8-Ensure there is an effective system for collecting, storing, analysing, tracking and reporting HSE performance data.
