Job Title
Engineering Specialist/Sr Engineering Specialist (Facilities) - 104190

Responsibilities:

Manage the maintenance portion of Bulk Chemical Distribution System (BCDS) Liaise with vendor on corrective and preventive maintenance programs Report on problems faced in BCDS with relevant corrective actions Provide some improvement programs to reduce maintenance and utilities costs Work closely with his or her Engineer or Manager for routine and planned programs Liaise and work closely with shift technicians to resolve day to day problem and modification works Work closely with all levels of staff from Facilities dept, site EHS, vendor handling chemical etc with regards to routine and EHS issues Liaise with vendor on maintenance works, spare parts, modification works etc.

Requirements:
A minimum certificate in technical studies and also a SPM/SPMV certificate At least 2 years of relevant work experience A diploma holder would be an added advantage Capable of handling crucial decision making during emergency and pressing issues Capable of providing good reporting to his superior/s Possesses good interpersonal skills Some basic knowledge of pumps and chemicals Some basic knowledge and skills of computer and software system Some basic knowledge and skills of pumps and piping system Must be competent enough to manage this area
